Following a needless catastrophic injury to a lifelong friend, Doug founded The Winters Law Group with a commitment to holding corporations and insurers accountable. He represents injury victims, homeowners, and commercial property owners, and concentrates his practice on  first-party property insurance litigation, personal injury, and product liability,

In his first-party property practice, Doug has successfully represented homeowners, churches, condominium associations, and businesses in disputes involving underpayment, bad faith, appraisal, and total-loss claims arising from hail, tornadoes, structural failure, freeze-thaw events, and other covered losses.

Doug also maintains a substantial personal injury practice, and has successfully represented his clients against multi-billion-dollar corporations, with significant experience in severe injury cases, including limb amputations caused by defective UTVs and Side-by-Side off-road vehicles. Over nearly a decade of related litigation, he has analyzed thousands of rollovers, hundreds of fatalities, and dozens of amputations.

Doug has recovered millions for clients in Missouri, Illinois, and across the United States.
